| | Description: (2.5 lecture/0.5 clinical hours). This course focuses on the adaptive responses in
self-concept, role function, and interdependence modes which promote the goals of
adaptation and the integrity of the individual, family, and community. Communication
intervention techniques are examined. Much of the clinical exposure is in the community
setting. Credit hours awarded meet the Missouri State Board of Nursing 3:1 contact-to-credit hour guideline. Prerequisites: NU307 - Adaptation Nursing Applications, NU308 - Health Assessment, and NU312 - Pharmacology I
